The exhibition charts the artist's course from 1950 through 1980, as he moved away from image-making into abstraction, and then to his reinvention of autobiographical and allegorical figuration. It includes twenty four paintings, drawings, and prints, thirteen of which are from the generous bequest of the artist's widow, Musa Guston.
