Atlas is a book of photography by Jenna Westra. Westra’s photographs are both evocative and subtle, staged and candid—a pair of legs climb a ladder, a lemon is squeezed into a woman’s mouth. Westra’s photos are often closely cropped, transforming bodies into composites of angles, curves, and lines. In both black and white and in color, the photos featured in Atlas are exercises in composition, light, and visual honesty.
